Agrabah’s CEO Joselito “Jun” Ocol and VS Group’s Owners Angelo Valdez and Bob Segovia agreed to sign a joint venture agreement last month, June 2020.

With the same vision of promoting local products, Agrabah Ventures and Fresh Buys Philippines inked a partnership agreement to profit the local farmers.

Agrabah Ventures empowers Filipino farmers to earn fair and steady profit by fostering connections between farmers and potential partners. It is also a managed service provider platform that ensures a steady supply chain to enterprise clients.

Agrabah collaborates and works closely with farmers and fisherfolks to ensure that they increase the use and availability of farm technology, provide developmental resources, and promote awareness of the importance of the agriculture and aquaculture sectors in the Philippines.

Fresh Buys, on the other hand, aims to elevate the agriculture in Baguio, Benguet while at the same time, lowering consumer cost in Manila. Partnering with local farmers from Baguio, Benguet, Fresh Buys ensures to deliver fresh and quality vegetables and fruits to your home – FARM TO TABLE.

Baguio is known for embracing the urban gardening and organic farming program by the government to help in producing adequate healthy food for the populace.

Agrabah’s Core Values include:

  • deeply care for their stakeholders, clients, and team members. They go above and beyond for their well-being.

  • They are driven to complete their goals through collaboration, the most important facet of their business.

  • Regardless of circumstances, they stand by their work and their impact. They are committed to their cause and work with integrity.

Through an online platform, both Agrabah and Fresh Buys allows farmers and consumers to find each other and make a fair transaction at fair value, thereby solving the problem of unfair market prices and scarceness of supply.

The joint venture agreement is to provide Cordillera supplies of vegetables and fruits in Metro Manila, vice versa, to also promote produce from Visayas and Mindanao.
