Apple TV+ to launch in November with a $9.99 monthly charge

The upcoming American ad-free subscription video on-demand web television Apple TV+ is coming in November.

Bloomberg first reported the news. According to the Bloomberg report, Apple is eyeing November to finally roll out the most anticipated video streaming service Apple TV Plus. The starting price was said to $9.99.

Apple Inc. first revealed the Apple TV+ during their March 25 Apple Special Event held at Steve Jobs Theater. Apple TV+ content will be viewable through Apple’s TV app, which is slated to become accessible to numerous consumer electronics devices.

Apple TV+ will kick start with 5 shows including The Morning Show, See, Truth Be Told, Amazing Stories by Steven Spielberg’s revival, Home – a documentary series.

Apple’s TV+ will become the fifth digital subscription service of Apple. The launching of the said video streaming service is part of a drive-by Apple to reach $50 billion in services sales by 2020.

Apple is aiming to compete with the leading video streaming service Netflix. As part of this, Apple is planning to make six small-budget, award-worthy films every year eyeing to nab some Academy Award nominations.
