Earlier this year, Ford announced that they are planning to restructure the company- and just recently they had started to implement it.
The reconstruction of the automaker company Ford is expected to have a great impact on its workforce. The plan includes the end of production of some of its products- Mondeo, Galaxy, and S-Max.
The company has been striving to increase its sales for the past few months; they have recorded a $73 million loss which greatly pulls down its European operations.
Reconstructing the company is the key solution for the company’s European business as it was reported to have been struggling. It is devastating to some employees to hear about the news, especially that almost “12% of its global workforce” is going to be affected by the sudden changes.
The reconstruction of the company was reported to have amounted to over “$11 billion”. The company is specifically targeting products that are underperforming that will hopefully help lessen “the product and material cost.”
Ford can only hope for the best as they continue to implement their plans. Sooner or later, the company will once again restore its European business. No matter what kind of hindrance comes their way, the automaker company can surely get through.
