With the uprising and the innovative progressive technology that we have, we were able to create the e-mail. From the usual post-office delivery methods or actually writing a letter by hand, we have evolved to a time where we can write and receive letters in a digital manner. One of the most famous email services we have today is Google’s Gmail.
Gmail has now released a Confidential Mode in their emailing platform, making their users feel more protected and secured in their emailing experience. The new Confidential mode will give its users more authority and power over their emails. For example, when in the confidential mode the user is given the jurisdiction to make emails expire after a given amount of time. When sending confidential emails, the user can cut off access to the recipient whenever he wants to. Confidential emails in Gmail ensures that the recipient won’t be able to forward, copy text and download the said email.
Another security feature that Gmail has added to Confidential Mode is that the user is given the option to let the recipient receive a code generated SMS passcode to open the message.
