Amongst all the recent Apple, Samsung and Huawei’s smartphone releases, Motorola joins the fray by setting a release date for their newest product, the Motorola One Power.
Shown off at the IFA 2018 in Berlin, Motorola India tweeted that One Power will be launched today, September 24, and will debut in India where it will be exclusive – the event for the Moto smartphone will be held in New Dheli at 12 PM IST.
One Power is most likely the upgraded version of its counterpart, the Motorola One. Upon its release, Motorola would need to compete with Nokia’s 6.1 Plus, and Xiaomi’s Mi A2, where the former is already on sale at Flipkart.
Powered by an octa-core SnapDragon 636 and an Adreno 509 GPU, the One Power also comes with 4GB RAM and is limited to a 64GB storage, which can be expanded with a MicroSD card to 256GB. It has a Notch design and a 6.2-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 + FHD plus. The product also includes a dual nano sim slot- one of its known feature.
Aside from that, One Power will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery, ensuring a long-lasting up time in-between charging sessions.
Its optics consists of a dual camera setup for the primary camera and single lens setup in the front panel, where one has a 16MP lens and another has a 5MP lens. The front-facing camera comes with a 12MP unit.
On release, the device will have Android 8.1 Oreo installed. Rest assured, once the Android Pie update is up, One Power owners can safely have their devices updated.
