Philippine Financial Summit 2019 is a five-part nationwide summit that puts the spotlight on nation-building through finance. The first part of the series took place in the City of Pines, Baguio City, on February 2.
The summit aims to empower the youth and make finance more inclusive. With students from universities all over Northern Luzon attending, the event was filled with activities and talks geared towards promoting financial literacy and inclusion by equipping students and young professionals across different background with the tools needed to effectively utilize financial services.
The event started with an opening message by Marielle Montanido of UPJFA explaining how the summit started.
The event was a hit among the students and closing it with a case competition. The second part of the five-part nationwide series will be in Manila on March.
