Samsung’s Galaxy Fold release date was delayed after discovering problems on its screens on their review units that soon have reportedly been solved.
Samsung has made a great image and impact on the technology world. Previously Samsung exec announced a new mobile model which is called the “Galaxy Fold”. Last February, the company unveiled a date of its releasing date, which is April. The market had waited for it but issues on the released sample units began to rise just before its said launching.
In April, the Galaxy Fold’s launching was delayed after multiple review units discovered a great vulnerability unto its proverbial bed. The review units of the Fold experienced technical issues such as bubbling under the screen and flickering display.
Due to its initial delay, Samsung revealed two great points of the said failure: a permanent screen protector that looked like the temporary ones like what other devices ship with and large holes between joints in the hinge that made detritus sneak behind the display, this causes issues when users put pressure to the front.
Since then it has been working to improve durability, including sealing against debris.
Samsung Display vice president Kim Seong-Cheol stated in his speech that the Galaxy Fold is “ready to hit the market,” according to The Korea Herald on Tuesday.
“Most of the display problems have been ironed out, and the Galaxy Fold is ready to hit the market,” he said at the Korean Information Display Society conference in Seoul.
After polishing the Galaxy Fold, it may finally be ready to be unveiled its foldable feature on the market. Samsung has been keeping it a sure to its release news “in coming weeks” for several weeks now.
