Youtube Major Outage causes Public Outcry on Twitter

Youtube has experienced a major outage around 9:00pm ET. Youtube not in the know of cause but are thankful for any reports made concerning issues on their services.

A global outage has had the public storming to Twitter and voice their irritation out on the major outage everyone was experiencing. Services that were affected include Youtube TV, Youtube Music, and regular Youtube.

Users who tried to access said services were greeted by a 503 error that is a server-side response code meaning the site’s server is simply not available for now.

They were working on resolving this issue or the past hours and would let the public know once it is stable again, and are apologizing for the inconvenience it has caused.

In a tweet by Youtube’s official Twitter page confirmed the outage to be restored, but the cause has yet to be determined.

In Youtube’s 13 year history, downtimes as serious as this one were a rare case, even when it is considered the second-most visited website on the internet, sporting a solid 1 billion active user accounts.

The timing for the outage is on point with the MLB Playoffs and NBA opening, leaving users to vent out on Twitter regarding the shutdown.

Many were not entertained.
