Following the update of the Adapt Bb app, Nike’s smart sneakers start manifesting scrutiny from Android users.
Nike’s Adapt BB smart sneakers are being reported left-and-right after an alleged bad Android update. These self-lacing shoes are said to stop working to the point where some owners can no longer use the mobile app to automatically lace them up.
Some people though, say that they got the shoes to work again after performing a hard reset. The Adapt BB shoes, however, have side buttons on the external design that manually laces up and tightens the shoes for you, but it appears that some users have reported that this update has even caused the motor to stop working, thus breaking the entire self-lacing system.
The alleged issue seems to begin from an early version of the software built into Nike’s sneakers. If they don’t receive the update before being paired using the latest Android app, they can lock up.
Nike has not yet commented about this matter.
