Samsung launches Note 10 and Note 10 Plus

Samsung revealed not just one but two next installations in the Galaxy Note series. Meet Samsung Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.

This year, two iterations from the Samsung Galaxy Note series are making its way to the market. The Galaxy Note 10 lineup is expected to take one’s creativity and productivity to the next caliber.

Here are the top 5 key features you should consider first before purchasing:

  1. No Headphone Jack. In the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, you won’t be able to see any headphone ports but rather you’ll need a USB-C adaptor to use wired headphones. This actually isn’t bad news as the lack of headphone port could allow for…
  2. Larger battery size. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus gets a packing 4,100mAh battery, which is a reasonable size. On the other hand, Galaxy S10 gets a 3,400mAh battery. This upgrade might not be that big but it might be the most useful considering the fact that the battery life span hasn’t really improved on smartphones over the years.
  3. Not one, not two, not three, but four! Yes, you read that right. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has four rear cameras, which is one more than the Galaxy S10. Three of the lenses on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus are the same as the ones on the Samsung Galaxy S10, it just adds a DepthVision camera to the mix, for sensing depth.
  4. 5G Ready. With this Galaxy Note update, the tech giant straightforwardly allows you to optionally add 5G to the standard Note 10 Plus. This only means that the company is planning to make 5G a more standard feature in its future installations as 5G networks are starting to bloom in the market.
  5. More affordable than last year’s variant. This year’s Note series are just a little bit more affordable compared to last year’s. In the Philippines, the based Galaxy Note 10 with 256GB of memory will be priced at P53,990, comparing to last year’s based Galaxy Note 9’s P55,990 with only 128GB of memory.

The 512GB Note 9 retailed last year for P75,990, meanwhile, this year’s 512GB Note 10+ variant will retail less for only P72,990. The Note 10 comes in Aura Glow and Aura Black colors and the Note 10 Plus comes in Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura White colors. Samsung also offers a free UHD Smart TV when you pre-order the 512GB variant Note 10 Plus.
